On a side note... a little rambling about a car I saw the other day. This old car had a bunch of bumper stickers on it. I, personally, am not one to enjoy bumper stickers. I guess I just don't feel I need to force the entire world into thinking the same way I do. (Wow- wouldn't that be scarry?!!?) On the other hand, the owner of this 1988 Blue Toyota was exactly the opposite- they wanted to WORLD to beleive what they beleive! There were many, MANY political statements as well as other interesting views. See below.

Work for Peace and Social Justice

Ok- and the other's I am not going to post because I hated them. My disgust with these stickers (all of them) isn't necessarily the message, but I wonder what kind of person advertises themselves like that? I love diversity, which is why I love America, but I wonder about people like this. I can't stand it when people try forcing their views onto me. If you tell me about your views and passions about life great! More power to ya sista's and brotha's, but when you start cramming your ideals about life down my throat I will walk away with little respect for you and your thoughts. Period. The End.

So, I am a day late, but so will the gift be...actually that is going to be a FEW days late! None the less, I love my little brother and I am so happy we were able to see each other a couple weeks ago. I miss you, bro. We have so many good memories together- from you kicking my arse to drinking at Whitewater--oh wait, Mom and Dad- I meant when he was visiting AFTER he turned 21, not when he went to school there! I will always cherish you, man! Happy 26th Brithday David!

The Name Game

We have a name!!! Sam and I finally agreed upon a name. I wanted to save it for a real life baby of our own, but he thought it was perfect for Little Miss Thang...

Sophia! She will be called Sophie. I think she likes it and she does look like a little Sophie.

My nameless baby!!! She is so sweet. Playful, but sleeps a lot, too. She still doesn't have a name. Sam thinks he has decided- he "tentatively" named her last night but wants to think about it for another day or two. So--any last minute suggestions? (This pic was taken the day I got her. She has already grown so much ! I can't beleive it!)
