Some 1st's!!!

Look at what Reagan can do now! Wow! She is actually using her fine motor skills to hold items in her little hand! I love it and I want to cry all at the same time. She is growing so very fast!!!She still hate's tummy time and this is what she does. Developmentally she should hold her head 45 degrees, and she does, but she would rather leave her face pushed into the blanket and suck on it. Great. I try to convince her to pick up her head by making ridiculous noises or playing with toys, but she doesn't have much of an interest with it!

Reagan and Puppies

Cousin Mikey!

We have a special visitor in town... Sam's cousin Michael came to visit on his spring break from Oshkosh, WI. He and Reagan were hanging out at the Poudre River...too cute!

Flight Out, Flight Home and Nothin' In Between

Well, we are home from my conference trip out to Baltimore/ D.C. area. I have pictures of Reagan before the trip and on the way home, and very little in between. Why? Might you ask, Well, because I left my camera in D.C. can you believe this? I can't, but I am not going to comtinue to beat myself up about it. I left it at our friend Gene's house and he is coming out to Denver in a couple weeks, so he and Sam are going to get together during that time and Sam is going to get it from him. (THANKS GENE!!!)

So, I have a few photo's and I will share those, but you will have to be patient for the rest of them. Needless to say, my conference was AWESOME! I am really excited about some new possibilities of a few things.

Our visit with Saucier's was absolutely excellent and we can't thank them enough for their hospitality! We always wish we could stay a little longer and visit a little more! We had an absolute blast! We also got to see Gene and Dave & Heather- although I didn't get any pictures of Dave & Heather. Our beautiful little Reagan was a little crabby and it made me totally uptight, so I wasn't thinking about taking pictures. Oh well, next time!

This is Reagan on the way out there saying- leave me alone! I am so tired! She did okay on the way out. She cried a bit in the beginning but did better the second half.
Sam and Reagan were sitting before we got on the flight to go home.
Reagan had such a better flight on the way home. She was so good!!! Sam held her a lot of the flight home, but I got to hold my baby girl for some sweet Mommy and Baby sleepy time!

The River's Edge by Tony Hayden

Hey fellow reading buddies- this is so cool. Let me tell you a little about this book and the author. I should first tell you I haven't read the book yet- only snippet's off Amazon.com, but I am hooked! I bought the book and can't wait until I get it on Wednesday! It is about a family that goes to Mexico and experiences some unfortunate events. The website can explain it much better then I, esp since #1 I will never be a novelist due to my lack of skilzzzzza! and #2, I didn't read the book yet! Anyhow check it out on Amazon.

Now, after you have bought it, go take a look at the author's website.

Here is the awesome thing- this is Tony Hayden...yes...for any of you who know us know that the Hayden's are the super nice family that we bought our house from! Wow! We were invited to Tony's book signing, but we were in D.C. and couldn't make it. We will definitely catch him to sign our copy of The River's Edge. Oh- and I hate to do this, my friends, but I am not loaning out my copy because I want you all to go out and buy your own copy of the book, okay?!

Hayden's still live in Cheyenne and are doing very well. Tony even helped Sam move some cables so we could put the deck in a couple years ago! Anyhow, go buy the book and hooray for Tony! He has another book coming out in fall of 2007- it is a parallel story to this one with some of the same characters surrounding this event, but from another perspective!
