For anyone who has been reading my blog for the last couple years, you might remember that I needed a tooth surgery eventually...well I had it today. The first surgery of several, but today was a biggie because they did work to both sides of my mouth. I was put under while they did their thing.
A BIG thank-you to Kim H. for picking me up and dropping me off. (I thought she would be able to just do a drop off, but they made her stay! Kim devoted 4 hours of her day to me! So sorry, but so thankful!!!) Kim B. Thanks so much for picking up my baby girl! I am so thankful to have had you do that for me! Tammi- thanks a million for being such a good friend to me with your offers for assistance, then to Kim for bringing her lunch! You all are the best!!!
Needless to say, I am doing okay. My face is a bit sore- and so is my throat for some reason- but I am going to be fine! I also look like someone punched me out in the jaw! So cute! So- anyone who was worrying about me- no need! I am so thankful for everyone's help and just wanted you to know I am okay.
And if you're wondering---I canceled my flight to WI and now I am driving- I know- I am CRAZY! (But so so happy to be driving- I think this is a first in my whole life!) Now I will be leaving on Wednesday not tomorrow. And to make the situation even better- I am going to car-follow Kim B and stay with them on Weds night, then keep plugging away on Thurs to pick up my parents from the airport! I don't think I have ever been so excited to be in the car for 15 hours in my life! Yeah!!! Let's just hope Reagan is as excited as I am! :)
This is a story of our family life in the House of Daane. Mommy, Daddy, Girl, Boy and two neurotic puppies. A typical American family growing, changing and evolving as we make our way across the country one step at a time.

Another Wine Club Night!

I just love my wine club nights! This one was a bit more tame then normal, but we had a great time! Talked about everything you aren't supposed to- politics, religion, you name it! Anyhow, thanks for coming ladies! Maybe next month our Merlot will taste absolutely smashing the way our Pinot Blanc did after we let it sit another month! Cheers!

Happy Father's Day!
To Start My Father's Day Kudos- I will start with the Father I have known the longest... :)
Dad- Happy Father's Day. You have been the driving force behind assisting me in all of my dreams my entire life and I need to thank-you! Even when you should have told me that the dreams I had were unobtainable, you let me dream anyways and even helped me try to reach them! You still do this today and I thank-you for always supporting me no matter what! I love you, Pops!

Sammy dear- it is your first Father's Day and I just need to tell you what a wonderful father you are. I am so proud to be you wife and mother of your beautiful baby girl. You are such a good Daddy and I know that through the years you will be the Daddy to our children that always knew you would be---and more!
Larry- Happy Father's Day to my Father-in-Law! You are a great Father-in-law and I am pround to be your daughter-in-law!

Little Loves

Reagan's buddy Austin was visiting last week and they are just so sweet together- if you recall our trip to Maryland there was a video of Austin holding Reagan's hand. He is so ready for a little sister or brother! I think sister because he is so careful and treats her like the precious babe she is! Man they are cute!
New Blog!
This is so exciting- I have a new blog you need to check out! Ok- well, I will prepare you- the blog isn't too exciting yet- as I know this one hasn't been, but I assure you- BOTH are soon to get better!
I have been in the process of creating my website and new photography blog lately, so that's why you haven't seen so many new updates. I am launching my website tomorrow! Yes, I decided that Father's Day would be a good day- sort of a gift to the two men in my life who mean more then the world to me.
Don't give up on me friends. I haven't forgotten about you all.
To check out my blog:

I will release the website once it goes live. I will launch it tomorrow, but it might not be up tomorrow, so I will refrain from releasing that url until it is truly live. HOW EXCITING! It's like the GRAND OPENING of my business!

Reagan's Eating!

What a Day.
It was a beautiful day today in Cheyenne and Sam, Reagan and I enjoyed it outside until we made the decision to go and buy a sun shade for Reagan so she wouldn't be in the direct sun. On our way to buy a little canopy to protect our baby girls fair skin, we were in a nasty car accident! The other driver ran a FIRE RED light and directly into US!! We weren't even the first car to go through our green- we were the second vehicle! I was so mad at the other driver that I never spoke to her, but she walked right up to the police and said, "It's my fault, I ran a red light." At least she took responsibility. Still no excuse though!
Good news- Reagan is okay! She was sleeping and kept sleeping until I got her out of the car. We were hit REALLY hard (probably around 40 MPH) and I couldn't even get out on the passenger side because my door was stuck shut. I got out on Sam's side, and checked on my baby girl and she was snoozing away! We woke her up with the commotion, but she was safe and sound in her little car seat! We are most thankful for this blessing! Anyone who needs a car seat needs this one!!! It is the Chicco Cortina.
We had many people stop and stay with us to make sure everything was okay. It really is true that God puts people around you that he knows you will need there. It was very touching to know that people cared enough to make those phone calls to 911 then to stay with us!
Sam and I are doing okay. We all went to the hospital because he and I both started tightening up really badly. Both of us in our neck and back and me in my neck with shooting pains. I felt embarassed because they had to put a neck brace on me and do a CAT scan to be sure everything was in tack-i.e. no fractures, breaks, etc. There didn't appear to be any, so again- good news! Sam and I are very sore and were told we will be worse tomorrow- not looking forward to that! I still can't move my neck very well, but I am sure that will get better with time. We both said we feel like someone kicked the living crap out of us!
Here is me in the hospital- I always put Sam's picture up when he is in the hospital so felt it is only fair to him that I put an awful pic of me up.

As for our Explorer- not good. It is very smashed, but we are thankful we were driving that rather then the Jetta! It's only a material object, but it still sucks. We are just thankful that we all are going to be okay. No worries folks (but prayers are welcome!)! A special shout-out to Kim, Avery and Mom Hlivko for your help! Thanks much, gals! Bye for now- my neck and back are killing me- time to sleep or lay down or something!

Reagan's Baptism

My baby girl was baptized over the weekend and we had a wonderful time! The service was on Saturday and we even filled the church with everyone who came to support her! Grandma's & Grandpa's came in from both parts of the country, friends and family from all over were there! This is a picture our friend Kim B. took and sent to me today, thanks Kim! (I know I've been slacking- I will post more often!)
