Off to Atlanta

So would you believe it- my doc will let me fly for another week and I am JUST making the cut off for a scholarship I won! It's called the Business Bootcamp where I am going to get a complete Business Overhaul! This couldn't have been at a better time and I know the Lord had his hand in this one for sure!!!

Thought I would send you off with a couple snapshots of Reagan and her friend Rylan. (Rylan is two months younger then Reagan.) They are so cute together! I'll talk more about he and his Momma Staci when I get a chance. Gotta get packed!

I had to pull the plates, because these two little funnies decided to throw them around!
Heading upstairs for naptime! They are so cute! Staci and I were at a meeting earlier in the morning and everyone kept joking about how much they looked alike with their little denim outfits on! They almost have the same hair color, but Reagan's is a little more red.

Thomas Antonio!

Welcome to the world little guy! My cousin Bobbi and her husband Tony welcomed into the world their little son today. He was born at 10:30am, weighing 6lbs, 14oz., 20-1/2 inches long! I hear he has lots of dark hair and is totally adorable. Wish I had some pics to share, but none yet!
Congrats Bobbi and Tony!

A Fun Birthday Party!

Reagan went to her little friend Ali's birthday party not too long ago. She had a blast at the venue- it was a place that had tons of "jump houses". She was a little skeptical at first, but then loved it! (But only with Daddy's help!)

Reagan and Daddy in one of the Jump Houses
Reagan loved this little birthday hat! She wore it for a long time until she decided to pull it off and get a closer look.

Liberty Lois

My sweetie cousin Fred just became a Daddy on Saturday! Holli delivered a healthy baby girl 8#, 18 1/2 inches! I love how they came up with her name. Fred was in the Army and fought for our country in Iraq. He came home with an honorary medical discharge. I am so proud of him for going through everything he has. So- thus Liberty. And Lois...well, that's my Grandma's name! How cool is that?!

Momma and Liberty (Her face is a little blue because she came SO FAST! She is healthy and strong though!)
Proud Papa and Liberty
My Uncle Jim and Liberty (a.k.a. Gramps!)

Reagan and Daddy

I found this pic in my archives and thought it could come out to be shared. This is Reagan and Daddy having fun with the guitar shortly after we moved into the house. You can see boxes packed up all around them! Lucky for us they aren't anymore, but we still have a long way to go.

Poor Sophie...Again!

This time it really is POOR SOPHIE! No pictures, just a little tale about how rough this pup has it. Well, she and the dogs that live at the connecting fence have a bad habit of running up and down the fence. They even created a little hole in the fence that they would look at each other through and antagonize one another through. Well, Sam was looking out the window and watched Sophie run over to that little hole, then get pulled THROUGH the fence and then heard Sophie crying and squealing! The other dogs had pulled her under and were mauling her. (I was at a Doc apt so wasn't even home!) Sam hopped the fence, separated the dogs from Sophie, then hopped back over, Sophie in arms. He scraped himself up pretty good- it's a VERY tall fence! We thought Sophie looked okay, but she was pretty shaken up. Today we see that she is a little more banged up then we had thought, but I think she will be okay. She has a "black eye" it's swollen above her eye, but there aren't any cuts. And her ear is scratched up. Boy is she lucky! We love her and are happy she's going to be okay! Poor Sophie, will she ever cut a break?

Aunt Amy's Visit

About two weeks ago Aunt Amy was in town and Reagan and I were able to hang out for breakfast before she had to head out. It was an awesome breakfast and Reagan entertained us both the whole time. It was a little hard to visit, but we made due!

Poor Sophie

I just can't get over how often the words, "Sorry Soph" come out of Sam and I's mouths. She is constantly underfoot and being kicked, stepped on, tripped over, having food dropped on and often missing death by a fraction of an inch. You wouldn't believe all the food that get's dropped on this dog! The other day Sam tripped over her (because she was standing right behind him!) and he dropped an entire plate of spaghetti on her! That white coat was RED! The stories I could tell are endless. She is such a loyal and loving dog. Especially to Sam and she was supposed to be MY dog! Oh well, what are ya gonna do?!

Recently Sophie got a haircut. Her top knot just wasn't doing well. Mostly because I don't keep up with her grooming the way I should. Sam wanted to see her without the top knot. We are still trying to get used to it! (BTW, she didn't always look as crazy as the before picture, I just had to put a ridiculous one up!)

Overdue

I know, I have been a blog slacker lately. I have good reason though...I have been out of town, then had wonderful Easter guests and now my little beautiful daughter is sick. I think she's just teething, but that is still sick to Mama when she has a 102 fever, crying and fussy all the time and isn't sleeping through the night or napping like normal. Luckily she is just starting to come around the corner---I think---so life might look "normal" (whatever that is) by the weekend. Oh yea- and I had a birthday and turned THIRTY in this whole process! Yeah! To tide everyone over, I have included a photo or Reagan from Easter. This was her cute little Easter dress and this is the only image I have of her in it. Shortly after this she got red jello all over the dress. Good thing we thought quick and, yes, all the red jello came out. So we will do another mini shoot in the Easter dress. :)
