Generations

It was so awesome...when we were in WI for Christmas, we had a picture taken with Grandma Jeanette- Sam's Grandmother, Reagan's GREAT Grandmother and all the Great Grandchildren. It was awesome!

L-R- Michelle, Ryan, Tom, Great Grandma Jeanette, Clara, Reagan, Emily, Graham and ChelseaReagan also hung out with her with her Grandma Trix. I love this picture of them!
Reagan wanted to open all the presents. There were TONS of them. In fact, so many and so many fun stories that I am going to give it it's own post..... but not tonight! Ta Ta for now!

4th Annual Cookie Exchange!

Yes- I am going through all of Christmas! I DID have my 4th Annual Christmas Cookie Exchange! It also included 4 people besides myself! I am so thankful for those who came. I didn't know many people in CA but I was determined that the tradition would go on! This is the only picture I have! There was a GREAT display of cookies, but for whatever reason, I didn't take any pictures of it! Well, Mom, Rita, Holly and Reagan...thanks for carrying on the tradition!

Christmas Has Begun!

Only on my blog! Yes, it's true- I am finally getting caught up from Christmas! Enjoy...

This is Reagan's first train ride. We took her on a Christmas train the night before we left for Wisconsin. She loved it!
My Mom and Dad, and US!
Grandma and Grandpa M... Yes, she is about to eat a crayon!
Although the picture looks like she is doing okay- skeptical, but okay...the tru story is that she was pretty freaked out by Santa. No crying, but she did NOT want to sit on the jolly old man's lap! Ha!

Photographer's Weekend!

I took part in a GREAT weekend adventure with about 70+ other photographers in Napa Valley. They flew in from all over the country, although it was technically a specific event for the "West coasters". My friend Tana did an enormous part of the planning and I jumped in to help with our models. I posted a few pics on my "work" blog that I took from Erwin. Here's one... This was on Sam and I's SEVENTH wedding anniversary! Wow! Unfortunately we didn't get one of the two of us. What's wrong with me?! In a room with all that talent and absolutely zilch! Oh well...we have lot's more years to have more! Happy Anniversary, baby. The best is yet to come!

Kitty

Reagan is getting to be such a little chatterbox! She just LOVES cats, which is funny since we don't have one! (Do I see allergy shot's in Sam's future???)

Reagan walks around and anytime she see's a cat-- a lion, cheetah, house cat in any color at all or anything else that is cat-like, she makes this kkkkkk hissing noise. That is how she say's kitty. I will try to catch it on camera. (I can't find my little camera that I put blog posts up with- ever since we moved it's been MIA. I'll keep looking!)

It is just so cute! Another one of those precious moments that make life so much fun!

Take Time to Smell the Roses...

Or perhaps the little tiny pink flowers!
Today Reagan, unprovoked by me, tottered over to our little flower bush and smelled the flowers. It was so sweet I was so happy that I happened to have my camera in my hands. More importantly I was happy I was just THERE with her when she did it! There are many moment's like this that I don't catch on camera, so I was happy to have caught this tiny and precious moment. This tiny babe really makes me think about what's so perfect about being alive!

Happy (over-rated) Valentine's Day everyone! Sam and I don't get too head over heals over V-Day, but today he brought me home tulips and some other wonderful bulbs! That's right- BULBS! It was such a nice thought that he got the bulbs that we will plant together and watch come up year after year! The great part is that I don't have to plant them all myself- I get to tell him where I want them and we will do it together! If I didn't like planting bulbs that would have been a mean gift!! Soon Reagan will have even more flowers to sniff, sniff, sniff!

Pink or Blue?

I wish I had a picture to share with you, but I don't. Just some real important news...

Drum roll please.......

We are having a healthy BOY!!!!!!!!!! Yeah! We are so excited about it! Healthy AND a Boy?! What more could you ask for? Twins, I know- but they are 150% positive there's only one.

Welcome little Cletus! No more C2 is necessary now that we know he is a HE! (And no- just in case you haven't been a follower since Reagan was on the way, Cletus is a NICKNAME and we will release the name at date of birth...or later if we can't decide!)

DANGER!

My adorable little girl...just yesterday! And today- I made her cry and I laughed about it! If that doesn't make you feel like a jerk I don't know what would! So, She went to pull on an outlet plug and I told her: "Danger" and she just kind of stopped and looked at me with a sweet little smile. A minute later she went to do it again and I shouted, "DANGER!" and she just started crying!!! I know it's terrible, but I couldn't help but laugh because she had this sweet look on her face and she didn't know what she was doing could hurt her. I felt so bad...so I grabbed her and hugged her, wiped her crocodile tears and kept laughing! Hee Hee!

WPPI: Episode 1

So every year I go to a photographer's convention in Vegas and this year they have come up with this funny and very dry humored video about the awards ceremony and a "Washed Up Rock Star Photographer". Check it out!

C2 is Growing...

...and so am I!!!!!

So, I was talking to Lindsey the other day and telling her how "I'm not even that big, yada yada yada..." Then overnight my belly literally just POPPED OUT! This is crazy- I am still wearing normal cloths- no maternity clothes yet, but it will happen REAL soon. The buttons on these jeans are getting tighter by the minute! Hee Hee! I love it! So different if I compare this to Reagan's pregnancy. I suppose the gestational diabetes had a lot to do with it with Reagan. They tested me early with C2 and I don't have diabetes thus far. YEA! I also can still see my ankles which is absolutely fabulous! I was in maternity clothes and "special shoes" (remember the "pretty crocs" I had to wear for MONTHS???) by 16 weeks and I didn't see any ankle bone past June 2nd- which was about 14 weeks. (I have pictures of the weekend I swelled, so I remember the date- we were in CO Springs.) You know what though- I would do it all over again if I had to! HAPPILY!

Our New Home

When it rains it pours- man don't we all know this out here in Northern Cal! I am SO HAPPY the rain has come to an end. I am sure everyone who was in danger of the flooding is too! Anyhow- here is a very quick snapshot of the front of the house. you will NOT get to see inside pictures for a very long time I think- boxes, boxes and stuff, stuff, stuff everywhere!!! ;) We LOVE our backyard- it is HUGE! Almost as big as our yard in Cheyenne we think- set up very differently- we will have some work to do to personalize it, but all in due time!

Jan 28th

Reagan has recently started reading like a maniac. I will notice that it is quiet in the living room and look over to see what she is doing... Man I love this kid! Does life get any better then this? (I'm going to guess it does with another one on the way!)

This is of Reagan and Daddy sitting in the little blue rocking chairs outside before we go out to run some errands.

Jan 26

I am WELL over a month behind. I still have some GREAT pics from Christmas and WI that will go up, I just have to edit them all. So, here is little Reagan on Jan 26th playing in the backyard in her jammies. This was right before it started raining non-stop for two weeks! Ugh! Anyways- I just love it that she LOVES being outside! Sometimes it's terrible because she could sit outside with rocks or woodchips playing forever!

Sad, Sick and Wrong!

That's what I have to say about the airing tonight of our home on TLC! It's actually pretty comical to Sam and I, but we were completely appalled at the portrayal of the homes in Cheyenne. Especially ours! They really didn't even show much- if you didn't see the show tonight, you didn't miss anything. What they did was show a bunch of nasty houses in Cheyenne, then show ours ONLY from the outside for about 3 seconds and the couple stood in front shaking their heads "No". The ridiculous part of it was that they cut the price of our house by near $90,000 what we were asking for it! WHAT?!? No big deal- it isn't on the market anymore, but WHOA! I knew they were going to falsify information, but I didn't think they would change our asking price (and by SO MUCH!)- that was open information on any Realtor's site , on the internet, etc, etc, etc... You have to be stuck in 1981 to think it was worth that price! We also figured out why they didn't show the inside of our home- it was too nice! I don't mean to be extreme by any means, but our home in comparison to the others was completely in a different ball game. They said they were showing foreclosures and fixer-uppers. Our home isn't either. Oh well! It was an interesting thing to have happened---and I don't think we'll choose to have it happen again! C'est la vie!

Our House is on TLC!

Hey ya'll! (Paula Deen sneaking out!)

Just wanted to tell everyone that our house is going to be on TLC tonight! (I know it is on Direct TV Mountain time at 8:30 and Pacific time of 7:30.) Not our California house, but our Cheyenne house. Here's the story...

Several months ago we were asked to have our house on TLC's "My first Home". Not as the main house, but as one of the homes "not chosen". This, was actually not true...the people who look at our house on tv never looked at our house until the day of this taping. TLC needed a nice house as a "2nd place" kind of thing and our Realtor suggested ours and it was chosen!!! I explain this to you because we have NO IDEA what they are going to say about our house tonight. They never talked to us about the house, and in fact we had already moved (I think). So everything they say is what they "made up". We also were told they would just be looking at the outside and maybe a little on the inside, but later found out they shot a lot of footage there, inside and out!

Let's see what actually happens! The caption for the show tonight is already unbecoming, but Sam and I don't care! We LOVED our home and we don't care what kind of falsities they say about it---it's on TELEVISION! Who knows, we might agree with everything they say! (I'll let you know tomorrow.)

In case you don't remember what our house looks like, this is it!
