It isn't a secret to anyone who talks to me that I hated High School. There are a variety of reasons that I won't get into now, but I really did hate it and I don't think you could pay me $1 mill to go back. (I really have spent time contemplating this thought, sad, hugh?)
Aside from that fact that I didn't like high school, I do believe there were some AMAZINGLY WONDERFUL people that I went to high school with. Many of them I didn't spend time with, but now get random updates on or occasionally someone will find me on MySpace and I LOVE IT!!! It is awesome that when we "grow-up" (did that really happen?) we can look past differences or just TAKE THE TIME to say hello. Some of it is because we have new life experiences, sometimes CONFIDENCE! and sometimes just that we got over our own ignorance. For me, I would say that it was a touch of all of those things, but my reasons also stemmed from other ugly stuff. (Can we just say- Boys stink and my daughter will wear a chastity belt until she is 30 and never leave the home?!?! Ha Ha!) Goodnews---I don't think I pissed off anyone enough that I am on a "to kill" list waiting to be crossed off with red lipstick.
I also should add that I went to High School with over 2000 people (I think) and my graduating class was over 400 people (I think). So truly getting to know everyone was a tough thing to do. I wish I had more time...in some respects. Something else I have learned is that it is never too late. Check out my MySpace and you will find some really cool people that I wasn't really friends with in High School, but are extrordinary people. Don't give up on what is possible. My friend Sarah (from H.S.) is how I find out about some of the interesting things going on with my classmates. I have included, below, a couple of the sites she has sent me about people we know. Anyone know of anyone else with interesting tidbits from Preble High School graduating class of 1996, let me know! I also want to tribute a shout out to all classmates, and I wish I were able to make it to the reunion. Unfortuately they don't let huge preggo ladies fly that late in their pregnancy and it is too far for me to drive myself. Have a few beers for me, and go to Titletown and eat the cheesecurds and have a Black and Tan brownie because I am totally craving those things!!!!! (Gotta love N.A. beers!!!)
Click on their names to go to their sites...
Schroerlucke Twins: I was friends with their bother Seth, but never really got to know Sarah and Jenn very well. They have amazingly beautiful voices and you need to check it out!
Mike Joint: Smart man who I talked to but never really got to know well. He is now a teacher and his loving students made this website for him. You just have to love kids!

Aww.. you're so cute! Looking back, I think most people hate high school. I would have done almost everything differently if I had the chance to. I have more updates for you-- but none I'll post on here.
Love the Pregnant Beth pics!!
