Blessings in All Shapes and Sizes!

Words really can not express what family and friends mean to me. This weekend I was truly reminded of how blessed I am. In SO MANY WAYS!!! I went on a "girls weekend" to see Beth Moore in Salt Lake City. Yes, I was sick, but I bought the ticket months ago- before I even knew I was pg and I knew I might not have this opportunity with little Clety on the way. Everyone was so good to me- keeping kleenex at my side, water, food, everything! I couldn't have asked for more. (I will write about the weekend later.)

Sam had an alert on Saturday and asked our friend Shawn to let the dogs out since they would be home alone. Of course, being the good friend he is, Shawn said he would since he would be around for work anyhow. Well...tricky Shawn and Lindsey decided to suprise us with helping out in Clety's room! The photo's make it a little hard to tell what went on, but let me tell you- LOTS!!! They removed the armoir that was still in the room that wouldn't be staying and they even re-arranged our guest room to make everything fit nicely! Then they painted the light milky colored wall the pink color you see. Then they went over all the walls and sponged on a poly-stripe! It looks so awesome! The brown closets make the photo with the pink wall look strange, but when you see everything together, the colors all mesh together and so well and it looks awesome! (The other photo helps you see what color of brown it is better.)

See- Lindsey and I had gone antiquing in Fort Collins and she and I picked out a few items for Clety's room since her room will be Brown & Pastel's and antiques- she had a really good idea of what we wanted. Never in a million years, though, did I expect to come home and find that! It is so amazing! They said that they knew Sam and I were both so busy and were having a hard time getting to the room, so they wanted to make things a little easier for us! Holy cow did they ever!!! Shawn and Lindsey- thank-you so much. We just love everything you have done for us and couldn't even begin to tell you how much it means to us.

On another note- doesn't the crib look great! Thanks Mom and Dad for buying Clety her first bed. She will always know that Grandma and Grandpa Mutkala wanted her to have the most precious dreams ever! Sam did an excellent job putting it together and it only took him a couple hours! (Now if I could just decide on the bedding!!!)
