This is a story of our family life in the House of Daane. Mommy, Daddy, Girl, Boy and two neurotic puppies. A typical American family growing, changing and evolving as we make our way across the country one step at a time.

Google Yourself!
“PAPs and advocates uniting provided excellent communication to assist in furthering the benefit of what PAPs were designed for – Helping the patient!” – Beth Daane, Rx Assistance Coordinator, Cheyenne Regional Medical Center
A little snippit of what I saw when I googled myself today! I google myself on occasion to see what I find- it is different almost all the time. I do it for personal and professional reasons. I was happy to see that my website is in the top few things that come along!
I do think it is a little scary what people can find out about you- but if I were that worried I wouldn't air my fresh laundry to the world in a blog now would I?

The Frontier
Frontier Days has begun, and I have been doing an awful job with my coveted "media pass", but I do I have to say that I took some cute photo's of my babe and sweet Mysterie! Mysterie had to dress up in a costume from the 40's and she looked fantastic! She did such a great job explaining about the house that was on tour!

And what to my wondering eyes should appear?!
I woke up this morning to my daughter crying- this is something she doesn't do right away, so I hopped out of bed and went to check on her right away. Well- she was SITTING UP in her crib stick in the corner! I couldn't believe it! Well- I guess we get to lower the mattress!
This is a re-creation of what she did this morning.

Easter Catch-up.

I wanted, so badly, some pictures of my little girl TRYING to sit at Eater-time. No one wanted to help me because it was a little cool outside and they didn't think I should go out with Reagan. Ok people- we were in Sacramento! It was probably 65 out! (Cold?!) This is the best I could do- now mind you- the poor baby wasn't sitting at that point. We did the best we could! :)

Vacation
Hello everyone! Just wanted to drop a quick little note to say that Reagan and I are still on vacation and will be back over the weekend. We are having quite a trip and have enjoyed it so far, with a few bumps along the way. Details:
*My face ended up getting HUGE, SWOLLEN and PAINFUL the first day of our drive- thank goodness for Kim B and her son & s/o for helping us out!!!
*My parents flight was cancelled and they were 2 days late- just happy they made it for the reunion.
*My cousin, Mysterie, has joined me on our trip through WI and will even return to Wyoming with Reagan and I. She will stay with us for a month or so.
*My trip to Eagle River to visit KGB and family got cancelled because my daughter started getting sick.
*Brought Reagan to MD today because I knew something wasn't right with her---she has Thrush and an Ear Infection- good ole thanks to the meds that I was on from the surgery.
*Have to cancel trip to Milwaukee for the same purpose. My baby girl just needs some extra TLC right now and I need to let her take life a little easier and not haul her all over WI as I originally planned. Bad timing- but everything happens for a reason as Kristin reassured me.
*Mallow cups from Trails End Chocolatier (I hope I make it home with them!!!)
*Cottage relaxation
Yet to come:
*Weekly breakfast with the family which is one of my fav things to do in Waupun.
*Shopping at the Amish stores
*Trip up to the cottage & shopping
*Michelle's 2nd birthday party
*Trip home
See you soon!

When Reagan and I made our trip to Wisconsin for my family reunion- we were able to get this picture of my Grandmother, Mom, Reagan and I. 4 generations! Wow!
