Funny Girl

Boy I just can't get over it! My little girl is 11 months and near walking! Well, she IS walking, but only with objects. She will stand for a few seconds unassisted, but then can't figure out why she crashes down! I will guess it will only be a matter of time. I think Daddy might miss her first steps! :( UNLESS she does it this weekend! We are going to visit Daddy this weekend and maybe she will do it then. Who knows! Enjoy...

This picture was taken almost exactly 2 months ago- the day after my brother's wedding. We are sitting in one of the majestic Redwood trees in the Humboldt area in Northern Cali.

What was I thinking?!

Of COURSE I had more pictures from the going away! For whatever reason, I just didn't see them- they were all taken with my little camera which is broken- you can tell in the quality of the pics- gotta get that fixed I guess!

California Fires

These fires are absolutely devastating and I pray for all the families and friends who may be affected in any way. Sam is near one of them, but is safe. Going Away Party

One month later I am finally checking these photo's out. I am a bit disappointed in myself for not taking more pictures, but I decided that I was going to have a good time! We did- Tim and Tammi threw us a great going away party and it was a fantastic way to say goodbye to friends.

Duck Derby

A week or so before we left Tyna, Reagan and I went to the Special Friends Duck Derby. They loaded up all the ducks in a dump truck and then they dumped them all into the lake and firefighters sprayed them to the finish line. We were sure we were going to win the Million $!
We didn't.

Phone Number Changing!

Hello lovely friends!

I am going to be changing my phone number in the next couple days- yes days! Maybe even tomorrow! If you don't get a call or e-mail from me, call my hubby, send me an e-mail or stalk me anyway you need to so you can get the number! I need to get a local number so that I can get my biz rollin'!

Oddities

I just find it so interesting that the world operates as it does. What makes you tick? What makes you smile, laugh, get frustrated? What entertains you?! What are your distractors in life...or WHO are your distractors in life?!

I have been a wee bit distracted the past couple days. There has been so much to do that I have just sort of pushed it all aside and not done much of it at all! I haven't hid under the sheets and waved the white flag- oh no- that won't happen! I just need to get those little distractors out of the way. There is one little distraction that I will keep though...Reagan I love you doll and I'll take your kind of distraction any day!

Pics will come soon enough...or maybe not soon enough...the computer weenie got the old hunk-a-tin in line and we are goin' at it just fine. Just have so much else going on and if you note above referenced info you will see that I haven't been in the right frame of mind to put up a "worthy" post. Yet another goal for another day...perhaps tomorrow?! Guess you better just keep checking back to see!

TLC: My First Home

How cool is this...
My wonderful realtor called us before we left and said that someone in Cheyenne was selected for the show My First Home with TLC. They had already bought a house, but they wanted to use our house in the selection choices for the show! So- on Sunday they filmed our home! I guess they will just show the outside of the house and talk about it a little- so it's our homes 15 seconds of fame, but you know what- HOW COOL!!! So to all you people who need to buy a home- buy THIS ONE! it's FAMOUS!!!

BTW- Pics should be coming sometime in the next week. We are working out the bugs of getting my computer up and running in a new network. Computer Weenie is coming tonight to fix it- I hate spending money of that stuff, but you know- gotta do what you gotta do!

**Addendum: I just found out that TLC actually toured our whole home! I wonder what they'll say about it. Sam and I both think that the people who bought the other house probably regret not buying ours now that they have seen it! (Remember- they never actually saw our house, it was a later add on for the purpose of the show. How sneaky!)
